A new story is created through relationship, with others and with ourselves.
Hi, I’m Greg. I’m a licensed mental health counselor (LPC). I’m also a person who understands how deeply our lives are shaped by what we’ve lived through, especially in relationship.
I grew up in the Dayton, Ohio area, and over the years I’ve also lived in Nashville, Central California, and Southern California. Living in different places and cultures has shaped how I listen, how I relate, and how I think about belonging, change, and community.
Before becoming a therapist, my background was in music production and video and film. That work taught me how much meaning lives beneath the surface, and how emotion and story shape what we feel, often without words.
Alongside my clinical work, I’m also involved in curriculum development, teaching, and training in mental and relational health. I regularly facilitate workshops and trainings for organizations and workplaces, helping people develop healthier ways of communicating, relating, and working together.
Outside of work, I’m usually spending time with my two kids, reading, often more than one book at a time, or getting out on my mountain bike. Those parts of my life keep me grounded and remind me that growth doesn’t only happen in therapy. It happens in ordinary moments, movement, and relationship.
What matters to me in the therapy space
Respecting choice and agency throughout the process
Listening for story and meaning beneath symptoms
Honoring the mind, emotions, and the body
Staying curious rather than judgmental
My work is informed by relational, developmental, somatic, and parts-based approaches to therapy.
